Backed by strong client partnerships, DGI is well positioned to capitalize on the current trend of more intensive high technology application in the petroleum, environmental, and earth-related sciences, ensuring the company′s leading role as a geospatial software solutions provider far into the 21st century.

About Us

Dynamic Graphics, Inc. partners with our clients to solve spatial analysis problems in the petroleum, environmental, and earth-related sciences. Over the past four decades, we have been the premier provider of geospatial solutions with our innovative, easy-to-use software and outstanding support services.

We offer three separate packages: CoViz 4D, WellArchitect, and EarthVision. While each is a standalone product, serving a different purpose in the hydrocarbon development workflow, when used in conjunction, they provide a collaborative multidisciplinary environment that offers dramatic benefits.

Integration of multi-disciplinary data, including reservoir simulation, 4D seismic, seismic attribute extractions, structure model, and production data.

All of our software products are designed to meet clients′ practical application needs, industry standards, and our own stringent quality-control requirements. Each product is thoroughly tested and documented prior to release. We provide a complete spectrum of regularly scheduled and customized training courses prepared by our full-time educational services staff. Once our products are in use at a client site, our technical support personnel are available to offer their expertise and to answer any questions that may arise.

In today′s fast-changing business environment, Dynamic Graphics believes that the key to success is to offer a variety of products and services designed to address a wide range of clients′ needs. Our software can be licensed on a perpetual basis, as an annual lease, or on a client-determined flexible rental schedule. Our EarthVision Solution Projects are also available for data consulting services on a contract basis for clients with intermittent project needs or limited modeling expertise or resources.

Dynamic Graphics is committed to responding to the challenges our clients face in their day-to-day work. We know that the continued success of our company depends upon developing innovative, reliable, easy-to-use software, while offering strategic support services that help our clients solve the demanding, time-sensitive problems that significantly impact their business.

CoViz 4D | 4D Makes the Difference

CoViz 4D leads the industry in providing a quantitative visual environment for reservoir management and 4D seismic analysis. Understanding the changing response of a reservoir over time is critical for optimizing production and development decisions. CoViz 4D makes it possible for multi-disciplinary users to simultaneously view and interrogate datasets from throughout the asset development team—regardless of the original data source. Understanding through data fusion—powerful in 3D—increases enormously when used in 4D: The unique temporal functionality in CoViz 4D allows users to visualize how development decisions affect reservoirs through time.

CoViz 4D Features Include
Concurrent visualization of earth models, reservoir simulation grids, production data, seismic data, gravity ⁄ magnetic data, property models, well logs, and non-spatial data
Data Registry module for data organization and imports
Direct-read of a wide-variety of industry standard data formats
Integrated quantitative & statistical tools for detailed temporal data analysis
Seismic history match opportunities with synthetic seismic generation
Viewer-integrated Time-to-Depth conversions
Integrated Wellpath Designer (IWD) for on-the-fly well plans
Seamless operation between Linux® and Windows® (native 32 & 64-bit)
Concurrent visualization of earth models, reservoir simulation grids, production data, seismic data, gravity ⁄ magnetic data, property models, well logs, and non-spatial data
Scalable data visualization on or off line, from the laptop to the visualization center
WellArchitect | Directional Drilling & Well Planning

WellArchitect, developed in conjunction with Baker Hughes, is an advanced well planning and survey management system for integrated planning and drilling of directional wellpaths with or without earth models. WellArchitect seamlessly accomodates the needs of field development, sidetracking, multi-laterals, and re-entry drilling, both in the office and at the wellsite.

Features of WellArchitect Include
Planning of well profiles from vertical to extended reach and complex 3D geometries
Single wellpath survey calculation to multi-wellsite, multi-well planning ⁄ drilling
Positional uncertainty calculations, including ISCWSA standard tool error models
Survey data entry ⁄ management, distance-from-plan analysis, easy project-ahead planning module
Collision-risk analysis, including revolutionary 3D representation of ″available space″ for collision avoidance, when used with CoViz 4D
Interactive traveling cylinder diagrams during planning and drilling
2D and 3D target creation and evaluation based on positional uncertainty
Interactive 3D visualization that can show the full drilling and operational context, including geologic models
Wellpath -fault and -horizon proximity and intersection monitoring
Database management, and fully customizable report generation
EarthVision | 3D Modeling & Visualization

EarthVision is renowned for its ability to quickly provide accurate and reliable 3D models, even in the most structurally complex areas. An EarthVision model enables more precise well positioning and improved reservoir characterization and environmental analysis.

EarthVision Includes
Workflow Manager for intuitive step-by-step 3D structural modeling building
3D property modeling including EarthVision′s breakthrough geometric restoration technique
Fault restoration methodology that allows for better understanding of depositional history and
clearer insight into efficiently exploiting the reservoir
Documentable and repeatable volumetric calculation workflows
Traditional mapping tools (base and contour maps, cross sections, and 3D fence diagrams)
3D Viewer for visualizing structure models, cell grids, wellpaths, logs, and more
Optional Geostatistics module
Geocellular grids produced with our optional Cellular Gridding component (shown below)

The EarthVision Cellular Gridding® module converts an EarthVision structure or property model into a cellular-grid format compatible for input to reservoir upscaling and simulation programs. Using an algorithm optimized for faults, evcell calculates cellular reservoir grids that accurately portray the structure and ⁄ or property in the original 3D model.
