BP selects EarthVision® by Dynamic Graphics as company-wide 3D geospatial modeling tool

ALAMEDA, California (September 6, 2001). Dynamic Graphics, Inc., creator of EarthVision software and recognized as the market leader in 3D well-position planning software solutions for structurally complex petroleum reservoirs, today announced that BP, a Dynamic Graphics' client for nearly two decades, has signed a revised agreement to facilitate EarthVision's use as a company-wide 3D geo-modeling software package. The five-year agreement, signed May 23rd, enables BP sites around the world to access EarthVision licenses running on UNIX or Windows platforms.

BP has utilized EarthVision for geospatial modeling for the last decade. The agreement makes this technology accessible throughout the corporation.

EarthVision allows users to integrate, model, and view geophysical and geological data in 3D. Doing so puts the geo-model in front of the entire cross-disciplinary team, as well as management, in ways that are understandable from all levels of expertise. The prospect becomes a tangible three-dimensional model with attributes that each specialist can instantly recognize.

This new alliance will ensure that the EarthVision technology will be used by the company world-wide.
